Great fun last night singing Irish and Cornish songs at the Irish Embassy in Madrid with the grand maestro, Rupert Damerell at the piano. A farewell party for our Irish Ambassador, Jason and his wife, Carmen. Sorry to see them go - they have done so much to support culture in Spain and are really fun and down to earth.

UPDATE AND AMERICAN INDEPENDANCE DAY CONCERTS

Well, it's been a while since I last announced anything on my blog. It's been a busy but fun time directing and producing my children's theatre performance of 'Mystery of the missing Barbie', a comedy play written by me for my drama group at the International School of Madrid.
My children's choir also gave a performance of 'A Menagerie of Song'.
Now it's that time of year again to announce my annual AMERICAN INDEPENDENCE DAY CONCERT....
This year there are 2 performances: the 3rd July at the Episcopalian Cathedral, C/ Beneficiencia 18, 28020 Madrid at 8pm. Also on the 5th July at the church of San Germán, C/ General Yagüe 26, 28004 Madrid at 9pm.
It will be an informal concert with music by Copland, Barber, Hammerstein and some Spirituals.
